Covering the Paterno Firing
VIDEO: You will see me in this video shot by someone outside Joe Paterno’s house the night he was fired from his post as Penn State head football coach. I was one of a few TV reporters at his doorstep asking questions to Paterno as he gave his first public remarks since being let go, via a telephone call. You will hear the chants of students behind us that were not particularly pleased to have us there, however it was my attempt to be very respectful to both the crowd and the Paternos given the events that had transpired.
